BIOGRAPHY

Simon Adams is an England based, Welsh born songwriter and successful professional drummer.

The songwriting bug got hold of him in early 2015 and has never left, his longstanding passion for drumming resulting in an intuitive sense of movement through his songs. 

He has recorded around 20 songs to date, all demoed via a small home studio, singing and playing most of the instruments himself, with many more in progress.

As a drummer Simon has worked with Midge Ure (Ultravox), Neil Finn (Crowded House), Tony Visconti (David Bowie), and Jessica Lee Morgan and shared the stage with musical giants such as Morrissey and Geoff Downes (‘Yes’ / The Buggles). Simon has also worked with long time established music producer Steve Lovell (Blur / The Teardrop Explodes  / A Flock of Seagulls / Julian Cope) and music producer Steve Power.

He released his debut album in July 2024 (available here).
